The rash has cleared up.
This leads me to believe that it was not the Lamictal, but rather, the senna tea that I was drinking to detox my system. The sores in my mouth are gone too, undoubtably from no longer drinking raw lemon juice and salt water.
I increased my dose of Lamictal tonight (No, not on my own, but via the starter pack instructions). 25 mgs to 50 mgs. My ass is completely kicked. I am absolutely exhausted from this medicine like I was when I took my first dose two weeks ago. I am sleepy and groggy. My memory is not as sharp, which is no good due to an exam I have to take in a few weeks.
Admittedly, I have gotten very lazy.
But, I feel good right now. Is it the medicine? I don't know. I just came off a depressive episode and due to rapid cycling, already came out of the mania portion. I suppose my body is just tired right now and in need of rest. I have been eating terribly, sleeping terribly and not giving too much care to my physical appearance which is amazing to me. I am always to the nines; hair, nails, clothing, bags, shoes, etc. Lately, I've been in the fives. Or less.
Tomorrow I go see the psychiatrist again to assess my progress on Lamictal. I am interested to see what he has to say about it. I am also interested to see what dose he decides to leave me at. I suppose he can't make that decision right now, because I haven't titrated high enough yet. I wanted a script before my insurance ends on December 31st. I don't think that will be possible.
Oh well. Full price for Lamictal is pretty damn expensive, but I will manage it. It's more important for me to be emotionally stable than financially. For now.

Hey! I was cursed with SJ Syndrome last January from Lamictil. I typically refer to it as the Lamictil Rash of Death (ROD). If you are concerned about getting and/or having the ROD - Call your doctor! Also, if you are feeling somewhat "comatose" from your meds (you mentioned feel like your ass was kicked) - CALL YOUR DOCTOR. There are a million meds out there your doctor can consider for you. Never settle for medication side effects you are not comfortable with. If your doctor doesn't listen and address your concerns - find another doctor! Just because you are BPD - doesn't mean you don't know what's best for you.
In case you haven’t figured out I am a bi-po-ho (aka Female with BPD. Hope that’s not offensive to you - I try to find humor in anything.). I like to think I am somewhat smart and sane along with my psychoses. Please feel free to come check out my blog. If you need someone else type at, please feel free to leave a comment and I can get your email via Haloscan. Also you might want to check out this site/web ring: http://bipolarplanet.blogspot.com/ There are some strange sites but I think you might find other people you can relate to.
Best Wishes!

Maybe you can work something out with him to get the medicines you need.
I bet you are still fabulous at the fives. I usually like the three's myself. ;-)
